Our purpose built facilities include two covered
yards of 7 stables. The minimum stable size is 12 x 12 ft. Each one has
an automatic drinker and swivel trough.
In each yard there is an area is set aside for grooming, clipping and
tacking up. Washing down facilites are also provided. Both areas have
flourescant lighting and power points.
The new full size arena is easily accessible
from both yards via a wide trackway.
The surface is sand and pvc and has been proffessionally installed by
Bill Kear.
The feed room is well lit with plenty of storage
space.
There is a secure tack room with tea and coffee making facilities and
even the kitchen sink!
Hay is cut from our own fields and
stored in our pole barns.
Twenty seven acres of grazing are available
for turn out with water laid on to all fields.
Barnes Wood is owned by the Forestry Commission and permits to ride in
it may be purchased from them. They have kindly allowed us access to this
wood from Footland Wood which adjoins the farm, this wood is over 200
acres with good tracks and also provides access to other bridle paths
in the area.
